About Real Care
A family-run home in the heart of Lake County, built on one belief: people do best when they're cared for as individuals, in a place that feels like home.
Our story
Real Care Adult Family Care Home opened in 2019. We are a family-run home in Clermont, licensed to care for up to five residents at a time. Many of the people we serve are living with memory loss or need a steady hand with daily activities. Our job is to make each day safe, dignified, and as full as it can be.
Our approach
We combine the standards of healthcare with the warmth of hospitality. Every resident has a care plan built around their needs and preferences, from the help they want with personal care to the foods they enjoy and the activities that keep them engaged. We keep families informed and involved, and we work closely with each resident's physician, pharmacy, and any hospice or home health providers.
Our team
Real Care is owned and operated by its licensed administrator and a small, consistent care team who get to know every resident as a person: their history, their habits, and what makes a good day for them.
Every member of our team completes Florida's required Level 2 background screening, Adult Family Care Home training, CPR and first aid, dementia training, and ongoing continuing education. Because we care for no more than five residents, the same familiar faces are here every day, and families always know who to call.
